Incredible night celebrating Monkeypaw Production’s ‘The Pigs Underneath’ at TIFF. It was a sold-out premiere celebrating the five #NoDrama filmmakers, with opening remarks by the incomparable Jordan Peele.

From the first read of Charlie Dennis’ haunting and powerful script, I was captivated by this crumbling dystopian world - a place where chilling horror meets deeply human beauty. It became the perfect creative playground to explore and experiment with sonic palettes. From metallic strikes and ticking clocks to desperate breaths and vocal textures, we wanted the score to feel like another character in the film - breathing, looming, hungry - contrasting the monstrous presence of the cart with the fragile humanity of our main characters and the resilient community they represent.
